This acrylic painting, "Perseverance Lake" was created just outside Ketchikan Alaska, on a beautiful rainy day at the location shown. The work was done in a single sitting after hiking several miles up-trail to capture the authentic Southeast Alaskan scenery.  Sadly, the work was slightly damaged after slipping in the mud and falling into the brush, leading to a tiny tear in the canvas near the top right corner (visible in the photo).  In the spirit of preserving the authenticity of the experience, I have chosen not to repair the damage but instead marked the painting as 40% off the intended price.
